Welcome to Chundikuli Girls’ College and St. John’s College Past Pupils Association UK

St. John’s College and Chundikuli Girls’ College are two of the oldest and well known educational institutions in Jaffna Sri Lanka. Having been founded by the Church Missionary Society (CMS) in 1823 and 1896 respectively, they provide quality education to boys and girls from all parts of the Island from primary to secondary levels.

Chundikuli – St. John’s Past Pupil Association(CSJPPA) is a combined association formed by the UK resident Alumni of St John’s and Chundikuli Girls’ College. The “Chundikuli Trust Fund” (CTF), is a registered charity in the UK manged by past pupils of Chundikuli Girls’ College and St. John’s College, UK.

Our association has maintained dynamic contact with the parent Institutions, supporting the improvement of educational facilities and providing opportunities for the education of those in need through scholarships and bursaries.

Educational Support for Our Schools

At Chundikuli – St. John’s Past Pupils Association UK, we are dedicated to supporting the educational and community needs of our alma maters in Jaffna, Sri Lanka. Through scholarships, village education initiatives, and charitable projects, we strive to uplift students and enhance learning environments.

Support Education in Jaffna

Provide financial and material assistance to enhance educational facilities and resources.

Charity Projects

Organise fundraising events and initiatives to support both schools and wider community needs in Sri Lanka.

Scholarships and Bursaries

Offer scholarships and bursaries to academically deserving and financially disadvantaged students.

Emergency Aid and Relief

Provide assistance during crises or natural disasters affecting the student or school communities.

Alumni Networking

Foster connections among UK-based past pupils through reunions, social events, and collaborative projects.

Cultural & Heritage Promotion

Celebrate and preserve the rich heritage of both schools through publications, events, and community engagement.

Our projects at CSJPPA UK focus on empowering students and uplifting educational standards at St. John’s College and Chundikuli Girls’ College in Jaffna.
